Kirby’s Return to Dream Land was developed by HAL Laboratory and
published by Nintendo. The game was
released in North America and Japan in October 2011 and in Europe on November
25, 2011.
Kirby was able to inhale enemies and copy their abilities.
Four players were able to play.
Additional playable characters were Waddle Dee, King Dedede, and
Meta Knight.
The game was presumed to be a GameCube title.
Development was shifted over to the Wii and thought to have been
cancelled until it was announced again in 2011.
The game was made available on the WII U Virtual Console.
It was made available first in Japan on January 28, 2015 and the
next month in Europe and Australia.
It was finally made available in North America on July 30, 2015.
The game received mostly positive reviews.
Many praised the cooperative gameplay, graphics, and sounds.
