Pokemon Battle Revolution was the first Wii game to use
the Nintendo Wi-Fi connection and the second to wirelessly connect to the Nintendo DS.
The game was developed by Genius Sonority. The game as published by The
Pokemon Company and distributed by Nintendo. The game featured 11
coliseums, each with special changes to normal play or prerequisites and a
Colosseum Leader. This game was the last game to have a Nintendo Player's
Guide made for it.
The game allowed players to buy items to be transferred
onto Diamond or Pearl. Players could also send new Pokemon into to the
games. Players could either use rental or Pokemon from the two games.
The game received low scores due to the lack of
features on the game. Even Nintendo Power rated the game low. The
game went on to sale 1,570,000 copies.
