Wii Health Pack was the original name for Wii Fit.  The fitness game was created by Shigeru Miyamoto.  The game was influenced by Miyamoto's daily activities.

     It allows up to 8 players to keep track of their progress.  Is installs a Wii Fit Channel.  This allows for checking Wii Fit and BMI without the disc.  The program has an easy-to-understand graphs and charts to keep track of progress.

     Wii Fit comes with the Wii Balance Board.  It took almost two years to work on.  The Balance Board is being designed to work with other games.  The Balance Board can measure a user's weight (up to 330 lbs).  It can check a user's center of balance.  It is also used in some of Wii Fit's activities.

     There are several activities to do in Wii Fit.  These include yoga poses, muscle workouts, and aerobic exercises.  New activities are unlocked by earning "Fit Cash".  Activities outside of Wii Fit such as walking, swimming, or playing soccer can be added to Wii Fit's activity log.

     Wii Fit was released on December 1, 2007 in Japan.  As of May 2008, it has sold over 1.75 million copies there.  It was released on May 21, 2008 in North America.
