Detective Pikachu Returns is the sequel to Detective Pikachu for rhe Nintendo 3DS.  The game was released on October 6, 2023.  The game was developed by Creatures Inc. and published by Nintendo and the Pokémon Company.

 

      The game was first announced in 2019.  The game was announced shortly after the Detective Pikachu movie releases.  Tim Goodman teams up with Detective Pikachu to tackle on mysteries after a jewel theft breaks out in Ryme City.

 

     The game received mostly mixed reviews from critics.
