Mario + Rabbids Kingdom Battle is a
turn-based tactical RPG for the Nintendo Switch. The game was
developed and published by Ubisoft. The game was released on August
29, 2017.
The game features eight playable characters. These are Mario, Luigi, Peach, and Yoshi. The other four characters are Rabbids dressed as the four Mario characters. Ubisoft is developing the game using their own engine, Snowdrop. A demo of the game was created back in 2014 and shown to Shigeru Miyamoto and Nintendo approved the game.
A special edition of the game was released. This edition included a CD soundtrack, 12 collector's cards, and a 6-inch Rabbid Mario figurine.
The game is compatible with amiibo. Ubisoft has released post-launch downloadable content through a season pass, which has included new weapons, solo challenges, cooperative maps, and story-based content.
