Mario Tennis Aces is a sports title for the Nintendo Switch.  The game was developed by Camelot Software Planning and produced by Nintendo.  The game was released on June 22, 2018.

 

     The game also features a story mode.  This mode hasn't been feature in a Mario Tennis title since 2005's Mario Tennis Power Tour.

 

     The game features online play.  The game can also be played solo or locally.

     The are several characters to play as.  Each character plays differently and some have their own unique way of playing.  The game will receive two additional characters after launch. Koopa Troopa will be added in July while Blooper will join the roster in August.  Diddy Kong, Koopa Paratroopa, and Birdo joined the roster in 2018.

 

     The game received mixed reviews.  As of March 2019, the game has sold nearly 3 million copies.
