Pokémon Legends: Z-A is an upcoming game for Nintendo Switch. The game will release in Lale 2025.
The starters have been revealed in a recent trailer to be Chikorita, Tepig and Totodile. No word if they would have regional forms.
At night in game, a special battle zone will be available in Lumiose City. These battle zones will allow players to compete in these from dusk until dawn as part of the Z-A Royale, a fierce competition where participants start at Rank Z and battle their way toward Rank A. During the day, trainers can explore wild zones to catch and train Pokémon in preparation for the upcoming battles at night.
Mega Evolutions will return as a game mechanic. It is rumored that new Mega Evolutions would be introduced into the game. This mechanic will also return to Pokémon TCG in the future.
