Pokkén
Tournament DX is an enhanced port of the Wii U version. The game
was developed by Bandai Namco and published by The Pokémon Company. The game was released worldwide on September 22, 2017.
This version features new fighters as well as support Pokémon that weren't found in the Wii U version. Four of these fighters were found in the arcade version while Decidueye is exclusive to Pokkén Tournament DX.
Nintendo announced on January 11, 2018 that Pokkén Tournament DX will have paid DLC. The first pack will be released on January 31, 2018. It will feature Aegislash as a battle Pokémon and Mega Rayquaza and Mimikyu as support Pokémon. On March 23 2018, the second pack will feature Blaisetoise as the battle Pokémon and Mew and Celebi as support Pokémon. Additional avatar clothing will also be released.
The game received favorable reviews. Pokkén Tournament DX has outsold the Wii U version in Japan. As of January 2018, the game has sold over 610,000 copies.
