Super Mario RPG is a 2024 ramke of the SNES clasic Super
Mario RPG: Legend of the Seven Stars. The subtitle was removed as it only used in English locatizations. The game was
released for the Nintendo Switch. It was released on November 17 2023. The game was developed by ArtePiazza, a studio
assocaited with Square Enix. The game was published by Nintendo.
Many changes were made for the remake. These include graphical, musical, and gameplay changes. Some of these cjamges include that here are only three save slots instead of the four from the original game. Another is that Grate Guy's games were changed from casino game to memory games. Several characters were renamed to match their more modern names for them such as Princess Peach instead of being listed as Princess Toadstool. Other changes were made to item names and locations.
The game's musical soundtrack was re-recorded with new arrangements with Square Enix's inhouse orchestra. Some themes have extended music before looping. The original soundtrack is also available. Bowser and the Yoshis now have vlice effects. Link's "puzzle solved" jingle now plays the sound from "The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past.
The game received favorable reviews from several reviewers.
